Ton Duc Thang Museum was established on the 100th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang's birth (August 20, 1888 - August 20, 1988). The museum was born to meet the needs of the people of the country in general, the people of the South in particular, and especially the people of Ho Chi Minh City, to learn and research about Uncle Ton.
As a memorial museum of famous people, Ton Duc Thang Museum is the only place in the country that fully and systematically introduces the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang. In recent times, Ton Duc Thang Museum has researched and organized exhibitions according to 5 main themes in permanent galleries and 1 short-term thematic gallery. Ton Duc Thang Museum has been contributing to educating traditions, fostering ideals for the working class, raising national pride among the masses and the young generation of Vietnam with admiration and honor. A great but simple man.
